Drivium was founded in 2026 by a working driving instructor who saw both sides of a broken system. As an instructor, he watched colleagues struggle to fill their diaries while paying high franchise fees to driving schools that offered little in return. At the same time, learners faced long waiting times at traditional schools and had no easy way to find a trusted, verified independent instructor nearby.
The gap was obvious: instructors needed students, students needed instructors, and neither could easily find the other. Traditional driving schools sat in the middle, taking a cut without adding real value. We believed technology could do better — connecting learners directly with verified, DVSA-approved instructors, with the reassurance of a school-level platform and none of the friction.
